Is this a database or a current electronic serial subscription?

by Ann Reed last modified 2007-06-21 15:20

The "current electronic serial subscriptions" item is counting particular serials that the library has a direct subscription to, either online, via CD, or some other electronic means, just like a subscription to a print serial.  Examples would be the Oregonian newspaper online, or Britannica online.  Do not count serials in collections that you access through an aggregator, such as EBSCOhost.  A database is a collection of items from more than one source with a common searchable interface.
